Are you an experienced Chef looking for flexible work in the Scottish Borders? We are currently recruiting skilled and reliable chefs to join covering Duns, Galashiels and surrounding areas.
Working across a variety of care settings and sheltered housing, you'll be responsible for delivering high quality meals that meet both nutritional and dietary requirements, while maintaining excellent food hygiene standards and ensuring residents enjoy a positive mealtime experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking meals in line with agreed menus and dietary requirements
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
- Managing stock and kitchen resources effectively
- Adhering to all health and safety and food safety regulations
- Working independently and managing kitchen operations when required
