Working nights is about more than simply getting through the shift. You’ll be a reassuring and supportive presence, helping residents feel safe, comfortable and cared for throughout the night.
Your Role
- Support residents with personal care, evening routines and settling safely for the night
- Carry out regular night checks and respond promptly to resident’s needs
- Assist with safe moving and handling using appropriate equipment where required
- Promote comfort, dignity, reassurance, and independence throughout the night shift
- Keep accurate overnight records and communicate any changes to the wider care team
- Work calmly and confidently as part of a compassionate night care team
The Successful Candidates
- Proven experience in a UK care home or adult social care setting, your skills and knowledge are essential
- A caring, dependable approach with excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Current PVG or willingness to apply
