Agency Contract Location: Clackmannan (Hybrid Working)

Contract: Initially 3 months with possibility of extension

Hours: 35 hours per week

Pay Rate: £30.00 - £40.00 per hour (DOE)

ASA Recruitment is working on behalf of our client to recruit an experienced Mental Health Officer (MHO) to join a busy, integrated Mental Health Team. This role is to provide essential backfill for long-term absence, ensuring operational resilience and meeting statutory obligations under the Mental Health (Care & Treatment) Act.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a retired or experienced MHO looking to return to practice in a flexible, supportive environment.

The Role

This is a hybrid position with a mix of home working, office-based duties, and community visits. You will be expected to participate in the duty rota and undertake essential visits to service users in their homes, hospitals, and other settings as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake assessments and interventions in line with service needs
  • Carry out statutory duties and complete associated reports
  • Develop care plans and risk assessments
  • Maintain accurate, system-based records and documentation
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Undertake additional duties as directed by the Team Leader

Requirements

  • Degree in Social Work
  • Current registration with the SSSC
  • Qualified and able to undertake statutory MHO duties
  • Up-to-date knowledge/training in Adult Protection
  • Full UK driving licence
  • PVG (Adults) required
