We are growing our engineering team and looking for someone who takes pride in quality installs, tidy fault finding, and strong client communication.
This role is security led. CCTV and access control are the main focus, intruder is part of the mix, and fire experience is useful but not essential.
What we offer:
- £30,000 to £45,000 salary depending on experience

What you will be doing:
Field based role across Norwich and wider East Anglia, mainly commercial and public sector sites.
Responsibilities include:
- Installing, servicing and fault finding CCTV systems including IP cameras, NVRs and VMS platforms
- Installing and maintaining access control and door entry systems
- Working on intruder alarms where needed
- Basic configuration and commissioning, testing, handover and documentation
- Attending sites for surveys so the office can produce accurate quotes and proposals
- Completing compliance paperwork and maintaining good client communication
- Identifying remedial works and improvements, with pricing handled by the office
Typical split is a balanced mix of installs and service, depending on workload.
What we are looking for:
- Three plus years experience in electronic security, ideally CCTV and access control heavy
- Confident installing, fault finding and commissioning CCTV, access control and intruder systems
- Comfortable attending site surveys and feeding back scope clearly to the office
- Basic networking confidence, IP addressing, PoE, switching basics, remote connectivity awareness
- Familiarity with systems such as Hikvision, Dahua, Axis, Hanwha, Paxton, Salto, Gallagher, Texecom, Pyronix, or similar
- Full UK driving licence
- Presentable, reliable, able to work independently and represent the business well
Nice to have:
- Fire alarm experience
- Gate and barrier automation
- VMS experience such as Milestone, Genetec, Avigilon, ExacqVision, or similar
