ASA Recruitment’s client, a Public Sector organisation in Tranent, is currently looking to recruit 2 Roofers, on an initial 3-month contract (with potential extensions) on a rate of c.£16.26/hour PAYE (based on experience).
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out roofing repairs to stock
- Working alongside other trades, with jobs taking place in both tenanted and empty properties.
Essential Experience:
- Driving Licence
- Served modern apprenticeship/SVQ Level 3 or previous equivalent and passed skills test. Relevant trade qualification
- Relevant trade experience in domestic and commercial market
- Understanding of effective customer care
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Effective organisational and time management skills
- Ability to use own initiative
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to work flexibly as part of a team
- Ability to develop effective relationships with stakeholders
Desirable Experience:
- CSCS card
