We’re looking for a strategic and commercially minded Social Media & Influencer Manager to join our Customer team and play a key role in shaping how The Perfume Shop connects with customers through social media, influencers and creator communities.
You’ll lead our social media, influencer and creator-community strategy, ensuring these channels work together to drive brand connection, audience growth, engagement, advocacy and commercial impact. Working closely with the Senior Brand Activation Manager, you’ll provide leadership to the team while building a modern, creator-led approach for the future.
Salary: Up to £51,000 per annum
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own and deliver the social media, influencer and creator-community strategy, translating brand priorities into clear plans that drive engagement, advocacy and commercial outcomes.
- Lead, coach and develop the team, setting clear objectives, standards and development plans that build capability and performance.
- Act as the go-to expert across social media, influencer marketing and creator partnerships, championing social-first thinking across the business.
- Own the performance framework, using insight and data to optimise engagement, reach, audience quality and return on investment.
- Lead planning around campaigns, launches, seasonal priorities and key trading moments, ensuring activity is joined up across Brand, PR, Online and Commercial teams.
- Identify emerging opportunities across platforms, creator culture, social commerce, AI and content innovation, turning them into practical recommendations that support future growth.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Significant experience across social media and influencer marketing, ideally within retail, beauty, consumer brands or a similar environment.
- Experience developing strategy across multiple channels and specialisms, balancing long-term direction with strong day-to-day decision making.
- Strong people leadership skills, with experience coaching, developing and supporting teams to perform at their best.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to bring teams and partners together behind a shared direction.
- Strong commercial awareness, with experience using performance data, customer insight and ROI measures to guide decisions.
- A passion for social media, creator culture and community building, combined with a customer-first approach and a desire to continuously evolve and improve.
