This is a hybrid role with 3 days a week based in our Dunstable, Head Office with 2 days a week working from home.

As Savers continues to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Commercial Finance Analyst to join our small but mighty team and make a real difference. In this role, you’ll support our Commercial Finance Manager, Commercial Director, senior leaders, buying and supply chain teams with clear, value-adding insight that helps us make great business decisions. You’ll also work with stakeholders across the UK and overseas as part of the wider AS Watson Group, giving you brilliant exposure across the business.
Key Responsibilities:- You will provide analysis and financial support for selected product categories. This involves sales and margin analysis, managing promotional funding and retrospective supplier income agreements and helping the commercial and supply chain teams better manage stock purchases.
- You will be expected to support with forecasting and budgeting month end accounting requirements and ad hoc commercial analysis.
- You will be responsible for one or more specialist areas in commercial finance which may cover Stock, Supplier Income, Pricing, Promotions, Product Range Analysis and anything else as determined by business needs. This includes improving your knowledge in that area, revising processes and improving reporting to the stakeholders.
- This role will involve predominantly look after stock in terms of key KPIs such as category stock levels, slow moving stock, own brand performance. It will also look after the Marketing spend for the business and will involve reporting and month end processes to ensure accruals are posted accordingly. It will also involve return on investment analysis of marketing activities.
- Support with supplier income tracking, reconciling and invoicing.
- The role requires covering weekly reporting to our key stakeholders to aid with decision making.

- ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or Passed Finalist.
- Retail/ FMCG experience.
- Experience building great relationships, partner confidently with the business and bring stakeholders with you.
- Strong Excel (VBA ideal but not essential).
- Previous experience with Oracle Financials, SAP Business Objects.
- Experience with Power BI would be a bonus, as it’s an exciting area we’re continuing to explore and develop as a business.
