Role Purpose

As People Development Advisor, you will support the learning and development of our Head Office colleagues, with a focus on coaching capability, AI confidence, induction, and mandatory training. You will work with stakeholders, Copilot, and existing resources to create, curate, and deliver learning experiences that build skills, confidence, and capability.

Here’s The Exciting Bit… A Day Includes:

  • Supporting the Superdrug learning offer for Head Office by identifying learner needs and recommending improvements.
  • Acting as a clear point of contact for Head Office learning stakeholders, working with People Business Partners and the Healthcare People Development Advisor to support joined-up activity where needed.
  • Supporting and championing wider Learning and Development initiatives, including Negotiation Skills, Learning at Work Week, Corporate Social Responsibility, Wellbeing, and mentoring programmes.
  • Coordinating learning activity from needs analysis and planning through to design, delivery, evaluation, and measuring value and impact.
  • Leading the Head Office induction experience, working with the People Development Manager to ensure speaker teams are set up for success and new colleagues feel welcomed, included, and engaged.
  • Creating, curating, and supporting learning content for digital, virtual, and in-person delivery, working with stakeholders, Copilot, teammates, and external providers where appropriate.
  • Facilitating in-person and virtual learning sessions that are engaging, inclusive, and aligned with That Superdrug Feeling.
  • Measuring success by tracking attendance, gathering feedback, evaluating impact, and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Supporting programme administration by maintaining accurate learning management system records, reviewing planned costs, processing invoices, and updating the budget tracker.

What You’ll Need:

  • Experience working in, or closely with, a Learning and Development team.
  • Experience supporting the design, facilitation, and evaluation of learning interventions or programmes.
  • Confidence using M365 tools, including Copilot, to create content, support planning, manage information, and analyse feedback.
  • Confidence using feedback, attendance, or impact data to improve learning activity.
  • Experience coaching, supporting, or developing others, including helping colleagues build coaching skills.
  • A Learning and Development and/or coaching qualification would be beneficial, but is not essential.
