Exciting opportunity for a Support Worker based in our supported housing service at The Limes. At Salvation Army Homes, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive, good quality housing services, support and resettlement for people who are or have recently experienced homelessness and who are in need of support and accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Build trust with clients.
- Help clients live independently.
- Encourage participation in social and leisure programmes.
- Support residents with practicalities of everyday living.

You Will Need To
- Be a confident and capable communicator, not fazed by difficult situations.
- Build trusting, professional relationships and have high resilience.
- Take an asset‑based approach to empowering people to develop their skills, strengths and talents.
- Have good knowledge or experience of working with homeless people, and/or supporting vulnerable people or groups.
- Understand or learn about community resources and organisations that can help our clients.
- Be flexible with working hours to accommodate a working rota in conjunction with the needs of the service and team members.
