Our client, a well-established container transport company, is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Transport Operator to join their busy operations team. About the Role
The Trainee Transport Operator will support the coordination of daily container transport operations and work closely with various stakeholders to ensure efficient deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Support the coordination of daily container transport operations
- Liaise with drivers, ports, and customers to ensure timely and efficient deliveries
- Monitor vehicle movements and respond to operational changes or delays
- Input and manage data using transport management systems
- Assist with compliance and ensure accurate documentation
- Work closely with the planning team to support route and schedule optimisation
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in logistics or transport (container experience is a plus)
Required Skills
