Our client is a growing logistics business based in Stowmarket and is currently seeking an experienced Transport Coordinator to join their operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual who is looking to progress within a fast-paced logistics environment.
The successful candidate will support the day-to-day coordination of transport operations, including container movements, LCL transport, and general warehousing, while maintaining high service levels for customers and partners.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure daily deliveries and collections are completed accurately and on schedule
- Input and maintain transport bookings within the company’s operational software
- Handle incoming telephone calls and emails promptly and professionally
- Manage and coordinate subcontractor activity
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information across internal transport and operational systems
- Manage designated customer accounts and maintain strong working relationships
- Undertake ad-hoc duties as required to support operational needs
