Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Transport Operator to join their operations team and support the smooth running of daily transport and warehousing activities. This is a key operational role, working closely with customers, drivers, and subcontractors to ensure a high level of service is consistently delivered.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage daily transport operations, including container transport, LCL movements, and general warehousing activities
- Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed efficiently and on schedule
- Accurately input and manage bookings using the company’s operational systems
- Handle incoming calls and emails promptly and professionally
- Manage and liaise with subcontractors to ensure service levels and compliance are maintained
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across transport and operational software
