Fire Risk Assessor Location: Northumberland | Employment: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract (Hybrid & Field Based) This role will focus on carrying out fire risk assessments across a broad and varied property portfolio including schools, depots, libraries, community buildings and historic buildings across Northumberland. Key Responsibilities * Conduct on-site fire risk assessments across a wide range of properties * Identify fire hazards including ignition sources, fuel loads and building vulnerabilities * Assess fire detection systems, emergency lighting, fire doors, escape routes and compartmentation * Produce detailed PAS79-1:2020 compliant fire risk assessment reports * Provide fire safety advice and recommendations to building managers and responsible persons * Carry out follow-up visits to monitor progress against recommendations * Maintain accurate records and update fire safety databases * Support colleagues and share technical fire safety knowledge where required * Liaise with enforcement agencies and insurers where necessary Excellent opportunity to work across a varied property estate with significant autonomy and exposure to a wide range of building types.
