Our Felixstowe based client is looking for an experienced Import Operations Clerk to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and review import documents (invoices, bills of lading, etc.)
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers
  • Track shipments and update internal systems
  • Ensure compliance with import regulations
  • Resolve delays or documentation issues
  • Maintain accurate records for audits and reporting

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Min 2 years Import experience
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office
  • Understanding of MCP, Destin8/CDS
  • Clear understanding of Bills of lading process
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
