Job Responsibilities:
- To support the Council’s Commercial Team (Food and Health and Safety) in the delivery of their objectives regarding the regulation of food hygiene, food standards and health and safety offences.
- To ensure the Council’s statutory duties are discharged in relation to the inspection of high-risk food premises with minimal supervision, and to ensure compliance with food hygiene and health and safety regulations.
You must have:
- To have worked in food hygiene enforcement and to have recent knowledge and experience of Food Safety, Food Standards and Health and Safety enforcement. Particularly the new FSDM inspection requirements.
- Experience of working directly within a local authority.
