Our well established client is looking for a Commercial Analyst reporting to the Head of Commercial, the purpose of this role is to be responsible for the commercial analysis of business in line with Trades strategic objective and Pricing. Working with all European stakeholder regions to achieve the Trade’s budget objectives.
Responsibilities
Embracing the Region in Trade ethos for all European regions assigned to you, maximise revenue and contribution pricing through proactive commercial analysis and tactical decision making to facilitate achievement of the Model Ship and other Trade strategic objectives.
Ensure all pricing enquiries are attended to promptly, efficiently and appropriately as a focal point. Ensure that all rate agreements and contract extensions/amendments are properly captured in the IRIS modules.
Work closely with EU regional sales teams to review and adjust guideline rates on a periodic basis.
Maintain close communication and build good working relationships with EU regional colleagues, to ensure awareness of RFT pricing policies and commercial strategies.
Cover the Equipment flow during times of staff absence.
Skills
- Able to work as part of a close team, but also independently in Commercial decision making.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent numerate and communication skills.
- Good European geographic knowledge.
- Experience of MIS DRT and Excel are additionally desirable.
