Our client is a growing international freight forwarder seeking an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Manager to focus on Far East trade lanes, with particular emphasis on India, Pakistan, and the wider APAC region. This role is suited to an established freight sales professional who can hit the ground running and bring an existing book of business.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and grow new business across Far East and IPAC trade lanes, with a focus on India/Sri Lanka/Pakistan and Senegal African trade.
- Manage and expand an existing book of business.
- Prepare and negotiate freight quotations while protecting margin.
- Build long-term relationships across sea freight clients.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in freight forwarding sales or business development.
- Established and transferable book of business.
- Confident in cold calling and new business generation.
- Driven, ambitious, and hungry for new business.
