Company Overview: Our client is a boutique and well-established freight forwarding company dedicated to providing exceptional logistics solutions. As they expand their operations, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to drive new growth. This new role within the organisation presents a real opportunity for a successful individual to create their own future opportunities in a privately owned business.

Client Acquisition: Identify and secure new repeat business opportunities in the freight forwarding sector, for worldwide sea and road freight.

  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of the freight forwarding industry to provide innovative solutions and insights to clients.

Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and sales performance to inform strategic decisions.

  • Prepare and present regular reports on sales activities, market conditions, and business development initiatives to senior management.

Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry, with a proven track record in sales and business development.

  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and international shipping regulations.
