About the Role
Our well-established Freight Forwarding client based in South East London is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive European Transport Coordinator to join their client dynamic logistics team. This role is pivotal in managing and coordinating trailer movements across Europe, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of both import and export shipments. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with FCL (Full Container Load), LCL (Less than Container Load), and palletized cargo, and a strong understanding of European road freight operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and monitor Groupage deliveries, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and transit times.
- Schedule and monitor FCL, LCL, and pallet load deliveries, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and transit times.
- Liaise with carriers to agree prices, freight forwarders, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Track shipments and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
- Resolve delivery issues and proactively manage delays or disruptions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in European trailer groupage and/ or road freight logistics.
- Strong knowledge of Road Freight Groupage.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office tools.
