Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Manager to oversee the operations of our care facility.
As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for managing and supervising the care provided to our residents.
This is a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our residents and maintaining high-quality standards of care.
Duties
- Develop and implement care plans for residents, ensuring their individual needs are met
- Manage and supervise a team of care staff, providing guidance, support, and training as needed
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in the provision of care
- Oversee medication administration and ensure proper documentation
- Conduct regular assessments of residents' needs and update care plans accordingly
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals, families, and other stakeholders to ensure holistic care for residents
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to resident care
- Monitor the overall health and well-being of residents, promptly addressing any concerns or issues that arise
- Implement policies and procedures to promote a safe and comfortable environment for residents
- Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in dementia care
Requirements
- NVQ Level 5 Health and Social Care or above.
- At least 2 years proven experience in a managerial role within a healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of Mental Health conditions and approaches of care
- Familiarity with care home environments
- Proficient in developing and implementing care plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Ability to effectively manage a team of support staff
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Driven individual with the desires to continuly improve and develop the service.
- Team player with the ability to follow instructions without deviating from the established guidelines and procedures already in place.
