- Shape system design decisions early to reduce downstream integration risk
- Participate in demos and exercises to incorporate real-world constraints
- Contribute to digital engineering and model-based systems practices
- Establish best-in-class end to end systems ownership in a rapidly evolving defence landscape
- Own system definition across the full lifecycle
- Decompose operational concepts and product intent into structured, verifiable and clear system requirements
- Define and control functional, logical, and physical system architectures
- Maintain bidirectional traceability from stakeholder need to verification evidence
- Govern interfaces, dependencies, and integration risks across subsystems
- Integrate hardware, software, communications, networks, safety, and quality into a coherent system view
- Support field activities and trials to ensure engineering decisions reflect operational reality
Your Profile:
- Deep understanding of the V-Model lifecycle and end-to-end systems engineering practice
