An Excellent Career Opportunity for an Experienced Quality Control Analyst, Supporting the QC Supervisor and QC Lead Analyst.

  • Perform Routine Analytical Testing on Incoming Materials and Finished Products.
  • Ensuring All Analytical Standards, Methods, Sampling Processes, and Training Requirements are Executed in Full Compliance with SOP’s.
  • Coordinate with QC Lead Analyst and Other Team Members to Ensure All Analytical Work Assigned is Achievable and Delivered in a Timely Manner.
  • Peer-Review or Bench-Check QC Test Documentation and Results for the QC Analytical Team.
  • Report Any Issue with Availability and Validity of Protocols, Reports, Specifications, or Retest Date for Calibration, Qualification and Validation of Equipment.
  • Report on Any Issue with the Purchase, Replacement and Availability, or Delivery, of the Required Reference Standards, Chemicals, Reagents, etc.
  • Consistently Follow the Data Integrity and Governance Requirements in SOP’s.
  • Demonstrate Capabilities on HPLC, KF Titration, Dissolution Testing and Physical Testing of Dosage Forms and Packaging.
  • Prepare and Check Analytical QC Data before Presenting Results for Review.
  • Completing allocated training and making sure that the training is effective by implementing QC analytical work assigned correctly.
  • Perform Routine or Special Assigned Duties to Check/Verify/Draft SOP’s and Specifications Required to Meet Regulatory and Customer Requirements.

REQUIRED

  • Certificate, Diploma or BSc in Chemistry, Medical Laboratory Science, Analytical Sciences, or Equivalent Science Degree with Strong Practical and Analytical Component.
  • Substantial Analytical Experience in a UK Pharmaceutical QC Laboratory.
  • Experience of a Wide Range of Laboratory Instrumentation and Analytical Techniques.
  • Experience with HPLC Analysis and Analytical Method Troubleshooting, Ideally with Agilent Systems and OpenLab Software.
  • IT literate (Minimum Microsoft Office Suite).
