Our Client is Seeking to Recruit an Addition to the Maintenance Team, who will be Responsible for Conducting Planned Preventative Maintenance, System Breakdowns, and Defect Repair. This is a Permanent, Shift Based Role, located in the West Midlands.

ROLE

  • Maintaining High Volume Picking Machinery via Planned Maintenance Schedules with Responsibility for Maintenance of All Other Ancillary Equipment.
  • Diagnosis and Repair of Electrical, Mechanical and Pneumatics Components.
  • Immediate Response to Any Breakdowns to the Production Equipment.
  • Updating Records of All Maintenance Work, Defect Repair and On-Site Spares.
  • Assist in Supervision and Control of All Site Based Mechanical and/or Electrical Operations.
  • Identifying Re-Occurring Issues through Data Analysis and Implementation of Change.
  • Generation of Appropriate Paperwork In-Line with Company Procedures and Work Instructions.
  • Logging and Monitoring of Spare Parts Used and/or Required.
  • Engagement with Contractors, Including Obtaining and Providing Permits to Work, Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
  • Undertaking Training at Other UK Locations and Providing Technical Training where Required.
  • Adherence to Strict Health and Safety Policies.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Educated to GCSE Level C or Above.
  • Electrical Qualifications to NVQ L3 or Above.
  • Good Practical Knowledge and Experience of Equipment Maintenance (Mechanical, Electrical and Pneumatic).
  • Good Working Knowledge of Automated Equipment.
  • Experience of Root Cause Analysis and Contribution to Continuous Improvement Programmes.
  • Good Understanding of Health and Safety Policies.
  • Electrical/Mechanical/Pneumatic/PLC Qualifications.
  • Ability to Read Schematic Diagrams.
  • Experience of Pharmaceutical Industry.
  • Formal Health and Safety Training.

REMUNERATION

£51K p/a Includes Shift Allowance + Benefits.
