Clinical Trials are expensive and, in most cases, incredibly complex. That is, until you come across businesses dedicated to streamlining lean processes in order to create efficient and cost-effective Clinical Development solutions. Our client is a leading name in the Clinical Development environment for BioPharma and Pharmaceutical companies alike. Having worked with over 60% of the world's largest Pharmaceutical businesses, this company has extensive experience in how to deliver for their clients. As part of their ever-progressing expansion plans, they are looking for an opportunity to grow the business, targeting introductions to different types and styles of companies.

Following in the footsteps of the previous BD Manager, you will be responsible for the company's outreach including in-person meetings, virtual meetings, conferences, site visits and more. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to win business and do it in a way that grows networks and relationships.

The Role

  • Implement sales plans across the pharma and biotech sectors to exceed the company’s revenue targets
  • Build a strong, sustainable pipeline for short and long-term revenue growth
  • Create strong record systems of BD activities, pipeline etc in the CRM
  • Represent the company at conferences and provide presentations to both biotech and pharmaceutical companies alike
  • Lead the preparation of client proposals with technical support and have active involvement in all contract negotiations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and technical leads to ensure seamless project execution
  • Analyse industry trends, regulatory change and competitor activity to position BDD effectively within the market

Key Skills and Qualifications for this Position

  • BSc in Life Sciences (or MSc preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years experience in BD for a small to midsized CRO or CDMO environment
  • Strong industry knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical and biotech sectors
  • Competence in CRM maintenance
  • Excellence in Sales, Communications and Presentation

Remuneration

Our client offers a highly competitive package for this senior level position between £55K - £65K per year plus benefits and they offer a great benefits package.
