About the Role

Are you passionate about people, process, and compliance? We’re looking for a proactive Recruitment Administrator to join our Resourcing team on a fixed‑term basis! In this varied role, you’ll support the end‑to‑end recruitment journey, with a strong focus on vetting, onboarding and compliance, ensuring all checks and documentation are completed accurately and to required standards. You’ll play a key role in keeping our recruitment and vetting processes organised, audit‑ready and running smoothly, while delivering a positive experience for candidates and stakeholders alike.

What you’ll be doing

  • Deliver a positive, professional candidate and stakeholder experience across recruitment and vetting processes
  • Take ownership of end‑to‑end vetting administration, ensuring all mandatory and non‑negotiable checks are completed, signed off correctly and recorded in line with policy
  • Manage the vetting sign‑off process, escalating any risks, gaps or delays to the appropriate team member in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date vetting and recruitment trackers, ensuring records are audit‑ready at all times
  • Ensure all onboarding documentation is issued, completed and returned within required timeframes ahead of proposed start dates
  • Update the recruitment tracker promptly following key milestones (offer, vetting completion, start date confirmation) to enable smooth onboarding and timely equipment set‑up
  • Prepare, coordinate and file imposter checks on a new starter’s first day, ensuring all documentation is completed and stored correctly
  • Support recruitment/sourcing activities
  • Proactively communicate with new starters ahead of day one to confirm readiness, resolve any outstanding issues and provide a warm, professional welcome
  • Ensure all candidate and new starter communications are fully documented and escalating any concerns or risks appropriately
  • Provide flexible administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team and TA Manager, supporting ad‑hoc tasks as required

What you’ll bring to the table

  • Demonstrable admin experience, ideally in recruitment or HR but not essential
  • Previous exposure to vetting or pre‑employment checks is highly desirable, or a strong willingness to learn and work within strict compliance frameworks
  • Confident preparing and issuing contracts via an ATS is ideal
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence to liaise with candidates and internal stakeholders
  • Highly organised, detail‑driven and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
  • A strong commitment to confidentiality, data protection and compliance
  • Demonstrable experience using Excel, with confidence handling trackers and accurate data entry

Diversity & Inclusion Statement

It’s our differences that make our organisation stronger, and we work to ensure that all our colleagues’ voices are heard and that their aspirations are nurtured in a culture where people can grow and be 100% themselves every day, no matter their age, sex, gender, disability, ethnicity, sexuality, neurodiversity, or religion.
