The Role:

ArvatoConnect are seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our high-performing IT function. You will be at the heart of our operations - designing, supporting, and maintaining the core technology that powers both our internal systems and those of our clients. You will work across cloud platforms, servers, networks, and storage - resolving complex issues, ensuring system resilience, and delivering service excellence. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams and trusted third-party partners to ensure robust, secure, and high-performing platforms. If you are solutions-focused, thrive on responsibility, and have a sharp eye for operational detail, we want to hear from you.

What you will do:

  • Take ownership of infrastructure and network support tickets - resolving issues end-to-end and ensuring documentation is up to date.
  • Support and maintain cloud, server, network, and storage systems across internal platforms and client environments.
  • Monitor system performance, proactively identifying and fixing issues before they escalate.
  • Ensure all infrastructure aligns with security best practices and vendor standards.
  • Maintain and regularly test backup and disaster recovery processes in line with service agreements.
  • Produce clear and accurate technical documentation, including system diagrams and service records.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams and third-party partners to resolve issues and support project delivery.
  • Contribute to projects as a technical resource, delivering assigned tasks on time and to spec.
  • Participate in the on-call rota, providing out-of-hours support when required.

What you will bring to the table:

  • Proven experience in a 3rd line support role within a corporate environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of fault resolution.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud and virtualised server platforms.
  • Familiarity with tools and environments such as AAD/AD, AWS, Azure, VPN, M365, and Censornet.
  • Confident following ITIL-based processes and documenting technical actions.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive mindset and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Able to manage priorities in a fast-moving environment with shifting demands.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Proven experience in a 3rd line support or infrastructure engineering role.
  • Proven experience with cloud infrastructure and virtualised environments.
  • Background working in ITIL-compliant support environments.
  • Eligible to work in the UK and willing to travel to UK sites as needed.
  • Willingness to join an on-call rota (including evenings and weekends when scheduled).

Benefits Include:

  • Discretionary Annual Bonus – recognising and rewarding your individual contribution to the company's success.
  • Generous Holiday Entitlement – 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays, with the option to purchase an additional 5 days.
  • Pension Scheme – 4% employee contribution matched by the company.
  • Life Insurance – coverage of 4x your basic salary, offering peace of mind for you and your loved ones.
  • 24/7 Health and Wellbeing Support – access to a virtual GP, mental health services, fitness programmes, and more through our WeCare platform.
  • Exclusive Discounts and Offers – enjoy savings with leading brands via our MyRewards programme, including retailers such as Apple, John Lewis, and M&S.
