Operations Supervisor (12-Month Fixed-Term Contract)

At Arvato, we’re expanding and are excited to be opening our new site in Wellingborough.
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Operations Supervisor to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract, playing a key role in leading our warehouse operation and ensuring exceptional service for our customers.

What you’ll be doing
As an Operations Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for leading a team to safely deliver daily operational targets while maintaining the highest standards of quality, productivity and customer service.
Your responsibilities will include
- Leading, motivating and developing a team to achieve operational KPIs.
- Driving a positive culture focused on safety, engagement and continuous improvement.
- Monitoring productivity, quality and service levels to ensure customer expectations are exceeded.
- Managing staffing levels, performance, attendance and employee development.
- Working collaboratively with internal departments to resolve operational challenges.
- Supporting process improvements and implementing best practice across the operation.
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety procedures and company policies.
- Producing and analysing operational reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications
- Experience of working with computerised systems
- Experience and understanding of working in a temperature-controlled environment an advantage
- Able to demonstrate reliability, good time management and organisation skills
- Good written and verbal communication.
- Good numerical skills and record keeping skills.
- Able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
- Show the ability to take ownership of an issue, seeing it through from start to finish in a professional manner.
