Salary: Up to £28,000.00
Responsibilities
- Support the month-end close process, including the preparation and posting of accruals and prepayments.
- Ensure compliance and accuracy of invoice processing, confirming costs are correctly allocated within the Profit and Loss account.
- Support the Purchase Order process and maintain integrity and accuracy within the sub-ledger.
- Prepare and maintain clear, complete and accurate balance sheet reconciliations as part of the month-end process.
- Analyse monthly expenditure and provide clear, concise financial insight to stakeholders.
- Support Business Partners with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, process improvement initiatives and ad-hoc requests.
- Participate in internal and external audits and additional compliance activities.
Qualifications
- AAT qualified.
- Strong data analysis and financial reporting skills, including data visualisation.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel capability.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across the organisation and present financial information clearly to a range of stakeholders.
- Proactive and professional approach, demonstrating ownership, initiative, sound judgement and the ability to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with the ability to think critically, identify issues and contribute to continuous improvement.
