Hours: 40 hours per week
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Lean Expert to join our team. In this role, you will support the Quality & CI Manager and the Healthcare division in driving Operational Excellence, ensuring compliance with procedures, and embedding a strong Lean and Continuous Improvement culture across our operations.
Responsibilities
- Support the Quality & CI Manager in all aspects of Operational Excellence.
- Conduct process audits to ensure compliance with agreed procedures and plans, and provide accurate, timely reporting of findings.
- Lead and participate in Operational Excellence Reviews.
- Manage and maintain the Safety Culture system (iAuditor) across the UK.
- Maintain and oversee SQDIPE dashboards.
- Deliver and administer training in 5S, SQDIPE, GEMBA, Lean Basics, and Continuous Improvement.
- Promote and sustain LEAN culture and standards, including signage, floor markings, labels, and waste reduction.
- Actively support and participate in Continuous Improvement projects and internal optimisation initiatives.
- Liaise with operations teams on customer quality issues.
- Work closely with Area Supervisors and Managers to embed best practices.
- Administer and support A3s, CAPAs, Process Audit Results, and Key Metrics.
- Ensure timely closure of Customer-Reported Jira Issues.
- Support new client implementations by embedding Lean culture.
- Manage and maintain confidentiality of company and customer data, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 27001, GDPR and IT Security policies.
- Demonstrate flexibility to undertake additional duties across the business as required.
Your Profile
- Experience in a warehouse or operational environment.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
- Skilled in Continuous Improvement and Lean Management (Green Belt / Black belt trained).
- Experience with Operational Excellence tools (GEMBA, SQDIPE, KPI Scorecards, 8D/A3 problem solving).
- Ability to coach, train and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Power BI skills desirable.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage reworks, audits, and customer complaints effectively.
