We are looking for a commercially focused and analytical Commercial Finance Analyst to join our growing team. This is a highly collaborative role where you will work closely with the Commercial FP&A Manager, Solution Design team, Finance colleagues, Key Account Managers, and international counterparts to drive financial insight and support strategic decision-making.
You will play a key role in maintaining investment models, analysing new business opportunities, and ensuring financial performance is effectively monitored and evaluated.
Your Tasks
- Maintain and update investment models to ensure accuracy, robustness, and relevance
- Calculate return on investment (ROI) for new business opportunities and change requests to support tender processes
- Support the Commercial FP&A Manager with pricing analysis for new clients to inform strategic decisions
- Assist with post-investment appraisals to evaluate performance against expected returns
- Analyse project costs to support Project Managers and ensure strong budgetary control
- Assist in the collection, preparation, and analysis of rolling forecasts
- Collaborate with the Solution Design team and international counterparts to ensure alignment on financial assumptions and ROI calculations
- Support continuous process improvement initiatives and undertake ad hoc financial analysis as required
Your Profile
- Strong data analysis and visualisation skills, with advanced Excel capability (including financial modelling)
- Part-qualified or actively studying towards a recognised chartered accountancy qualification
- Ability to take ownership, show initiative, and proactively drive tasks through to completion
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Commercial awareness with an interest in pricing, forecasting, ROI analysis, and performance evaluation
