Salary: £53,000 p.a
We are looking for a highly strategic and driven Inventory Manager to oversee stock management across our Corby and Hams Hall sites. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring efficient inventory planning, accuracy, and operational excellence across both locations. You will directly manage two Inventory Supervisors (one at each site), providing guidance, structure, and support to ensure stock is controlled, optimised, and aligned with operational needs.
Your Tasks
- Develop and implement strategic inventory plans, forecasting stock requirements up to 12 months in advance
- Oversee stock allocation, ensuring products are directed to the most appropriate storage solutions (e.g. AutoStore, racking, etc.)
- Support supervisors in delivering effective weekly and monthly stock plans
- Ensure accurate cycle counting processes are maintained across both sites
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and stock control
- Monitor and improve inventory accuracy and performance metrics
- Work closely with the Head of Operations and Key Account Managers to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within inventory management processes
Your Profile
- Proven experience in inventory control within a warehouse or logistics environment
- Strong strategic planning and forecasting skills
- Experience managing or mentoring team members
- Solid understanding of warehouse systems and storage solutions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
