Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30-17.00 - 40 hour week
Hybrid - 3 days per week onsite
As our Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for the buying of goods and services relating directly to Arvato’s Facilities & Engineering Departments. Your typical day-to-day duties will include meeting with Suppliers, working on tenders RFI’s and RFQ’s, implementing Supplier Agreements, negotiating Contracts and working with internal stakeholders as a dotted line into Head of Facilities & Engineering.
Your Tasks:
- Work closely with the Facilities & Engineering Team and take ownership and accountability of category strategy.
- Preparation and execution of tenders, RFI’s and RFQ’s for facilities & engineering.
- Consolidate existing Suppliers and source new.
- Source new products and materials.
- Negotiate and implement Supplier Agreements.
- Supplier commercial negotiations.
- Work with key Suppliers to improve service levels and potential group growth.
- Build relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of change.
- Be accountable for achieving agreed targets and objectives.
- Drive process standardisation and simplification.
- Manage Supplier OTIF, troubleshoot associated service issues, and lead escalations.
- Promote sustainability standards throughout the Arvato and Supplier supply chains.
Your Profile:
- Experience of facilities management & engineering MRO procurement within an FMCG environment, ideally warehousing and logistics.
- Must be able to demonstrate hands-on experience with the end-to-end RFI, RFQ and tender delivery.
- Experience within business process design advantageous.
- Able to evidence success within Supplier consolidation programs.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills.
- Able to create strategic and tactical plans.
- Good influencer and able to work well with stakeholders.
- A working knowledge of Project Management.
- Able to balance priorities and work to tight deadlines.
- Good communicator – clear and concise, written and verbal.
- Experience with performance management and reporting.
- Problem solving.
- Conflict resolution skills.
- Good IT skills and a working knowledge of SAP is desirable.
