Swindon – Hybrid
We’re Arval BNP Paribas – we’re a global leader in vehicle leasing and the fourth largest leasing company in the UK. Our passion for Service, Sustainability, and Solutions is brought to life by each and every one of our people – who we call Journey Makers.
Culturally, we’re a friendly bunch – more human than corporate – and we serve a diverse customer base. From families choosing their first electric vehicle, to global brands seeking to switch their fleets to electric vehicles – whatever our customers’ mobility needs, we have a solution to offer.
Why join Arval?
In addition to the benefits and opportunities that come with being part of a progressive global banking group, we have a supportive and collaborative culture where wellbeing and work-life balance are taken seriously. Which is why we recently won the Wellbeing category of the 2024 Business Car Awards.
About The Role
Are you someone who thrives on accuracy, loves problem-solving, and enjoys being the go-to person for specialist knowledge? We\’re looking for a confident, detail-driven team member to join our Discounts team — a vital role at the heart of our business operations.
This isn’t just about inputting data — it’s about interpreting complex manufacturer and dealer agreements, applying your knowledge to support projects, and ensuring our pricing stays sharp and profitable. You\’ll help make sure our quotes are right first time, every time, playing a key role in protecting margins and supporting the wider business.
As part of this role, you’ll also act as one of the team’s subject matter experts. You\’ll be the go-to contact for discount queries across Arval. You’ll be encouraged to challenge existing processes, suggest smarter ways of working, and help improve the way we communicate and operate as a team.
Some Of Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Analysing and interpreting manufacturer and dealer terms and loading accurate data into our systems.
- Supporting and coordinating the team’s daily workload.
- Acting as a trusted contact for stakeholders across the business when it comes to discount queries.
- Proactively identifying and driving improvements in our processes and ways of working.
- Becoming recognised as a company expert in your field.
- Using Excel tools such as V-lookups to manage and validate data.
What we’re looking for
We want someone with a sharp eye for detail and a reputation for accuracy — someone who takes pride in getting it right, even under pressure. You’ll be highly organised, comfortable juggling multiple priorities, and keen to improve the way we do things. A solid understanding of Excel is desirable, but if you’ve got a good grasp of the basics, we’ll teach you the rest!
An understanding of the quotation process or prior exposure to dealer/manufacturer agreements is a bonus, but not essential.
You’ll Also Be Able To Demonstrate
- A methodical, analytical approach to your work — you’re someone who spots the gaps and asks the right questions.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
- Confidence to work independently and collaboratively, building great relationships across teams.
- An inquisitive mindset, always looking for better ways to do things.
- Good working knowledge of Excel (especially V-lookups) — or the willingness to learn quickly.
This is a fantastic opportunity to deepen your expertise, gain visibility across the business, and play a key part in a high-performing, solutions-focused team. If this sounds like you — we’d love to hear from you!
