We are working exclusively with an off‑site construction company that prides itself on delivering timber‑frame building solutions. They are looking for a senior DfMA designer who will take ownership of design delivery, working closely with internal stakeholders and influencing how projects move from concept through to manufacture. This opportunity would suit an experienced Revit‑based designer who is comfortable working autonomously, values accountability, and is motivated by the chance to shape systems and standards rather than simply maintain them.

Responsibilities

  • Produce and coordinate timber frame and DFMA‑focused designs using Revit
  • Take ownership of projects from early design through to manufacture‑ready information
  • Review, refine and improve existing design standards and workflows
  • Manage priorities and workloads independently to meet programme requirements
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure designs align with manufacturing and delivery needs
  • Provide technical input and guidance as the design function develops
  • Support continuity during team transition and future growth
  • Contribute to longer‑term development of design and engineering capability

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Revit within a construction or manufacturing‑led environment
  • Experience in timber frame design or closely related off‑site/modular construction sectors
  • Proven background in design for manufacture and assembly (DFMA)
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Experience managing technical interfaces with multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to review and improve existing design processes

You’ll join a forward‑thinking, sustainability‑driven business that invests in people and technology. Expect a supportive team environment, with opportunities to influence continuous improvement, and make a genuine impact on business growth. This employer is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
