This Supply Chain Manager role exists to provide strategic leadership across supply chain operations, ensuring procurement, inventory, transport and sales order processes effectively support long-term growth. Reporting at a senior level, the role would suit an experienced supply chain leader with strong commercial awareness, people leadership capability and a focus on operational excellence. The position offers board level support, genuine influence over strategy and the opportunity to shape systems, processes and performance across a complex supply chain.
As a Supply Chain Manager you will:
- Lead and manage the supply chain management team covering sales, procurement and transport
- Design and implement SOPs for sales and purchase order processing to improve efficiency and quality
- Set, monitor and improve KPIs including OTIF, inventory accuracy, inventory turns and supplier compliance
- Drive improvements to achieve OTIF and inventory accuracy targets of 99%
- Oversee inventory management, including third party warehouse operations
- Develop demand forecasting tools and collaborate with sales on mid to long term planning
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiations and performance
