We are working with a well-established timber engineering manufacturer who are looking to strengthen their design team with another Roof Truss Designer. With a strong pipeline of work and part of a larger group, this is a great opportunity to join a stable business offering long-term progression and earning potential.
This is a full-time, office-based position, working closely with both internal teams and external clients on a range of timber engineering projects including roof trusses, metal-web joists and i-joists.
As a Roof Truss Designer, you will:
- Produce technical, manufacturing and installation drawings
- Prepare accurate estimates and quotations
- Work closely with clients, architects and engineers to develop design solutions
- Manage multiple live projects simultaneously
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers
What We're Looking For:
- 2+ years' experience within roof truss or timber engineering design
- Understanding of structural design principles
- Experience with MiTek, Wolf or Alpine is beneficial but not essential
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
