Job Title: Procurement Manager\\n Location: Manchester\\n Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance + Package!\\n Sector: Construction\\n\\nWe are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing construction business for a Procurement Manager to take full ownership of procurement across materials, plant, goods and services. This is a key commercial leadership role, working closely with the Commercial, Pre-Construction and Project teams to ensure procurement activity supports profitability, programme delivery and strategic business objectives.\\n\\nThe role offers real influence across the supply chain, with responsibility for driving value through strategic sourcing, cost assurance, innovation and proactive risk management.\\n\\nAs Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end procurement across multiple projects, ensuring best value, compliance, and continuity of supply.\\n\\nKey responsibilities include:\\n\\nDeveloping and executing strategic sourcing strategies for construction materials, plant and services\\nLeading supplier selection, negotiation, performance management and compliance\\nDriving cost control, value engineering and rebate agreements\\nSupporting commercial forecasting, reporting and cost analysis\\nManaging procurement-related risk across the supply chain\\nWorking closely with Commercial, Pre-Construction, Operations and Site teams\\nOverseeing procurement systems and data integrity\\nEnsuring governance, audit readiness and ISO/SHEQ compliance\\nManaging labour agency relationships and subcontractor procurement compliance \\n\\nYou will already have:\\n\\nProven experience in a Procurement Manager / Senior Buyer / Lead Procurement role within construction\\nA strong track record managing procurement across multiple live projects\\nSolid understanding of construction materials, contracts and supply chain performance\\nExperience supporting commercial reporting, cost control and forecasting\\nStrong negotiation skills and commercial acumen\\nHigh attention to detail with a structured, process-driven approach\\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement systems\\nConfidence operating within governance frameworks and approval limits \\n\\nIt would be advantageous if you have:\\n\\nCIPS or equivalent procurement qualification\\nExperience negotiating framework agreements and supplier rebates\\nKnowledge of construction contracts (NEC, JCT)\\nExperience supporting ISO audits and continuous improvement initiatives\\nFamiliarity with Evolution M or similar ERP/procurement systemsIf you are interested in this role click Apply to submit your CV for consideration.\\n\\nThis employer is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.\\n\\nAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, colour, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, or age.\\n\\nKey Skills: Procurement, Buying, CIPS, Category Management, Commercial, New Build, SFS, Drylining, LGSF
