Job Title: Estimator\\n Location: Manchester\\n Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance + Package!\\n Sector: Construction / Specialist Sub-Contractor\\n\\nWe are working with a growing, specialist construction business to recruit an Estimator. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced estimator who enjoys the detail of tendering but is also keen to develop into a more commercial, client-facing or strategic preconstruction role over time.\\n\\nYou'll play a key role in supporting the full bid and tender process, working closely with internal teams and external clients to deliver accurate, competitive and high-quality estimates.\\n\\nAs Estimator you will:\\n\\nSupport and manage multiple tenders and bid processes simultaneously\\nPrepare accurate estimates and quotations using estimating software\\nInterpret construction drawings, specifications and technical procedures\\nUnderstand construction sequencing and operational delivery on site\\nMaintain accurate data using CRM and data management systems\\nLiaise with clients via email, phone and face-to-face meetings\\nChase tender progress and provide excellent customer service throughout\\nCollaborate closely with commercial, operational and preconstruction teamsYou will already have:\\n\\nProven experience in tendering and bid processes\\nStrong numerical and mathematical ability\\nExperience using estimating software\\nAbility to read and interpret construction drawings\\nUnderstanding of construction sequencing and site operations\\nHigh attention to detail and strong administrative skills\\nProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)\\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\\nDemonstrable success managing multiple bids/tenders\\nEducation to A-Level standard or equivalentIt would be great if you also have:\\n\\nExperience with Conquest estimating software\\nKnowledge of drylining, SFS, Metframe or similar technical products\\nAwareness of prelims, construction programming and contracts\\nUnderstanding of construction cost build-up and commercial principles\\nConstruction-related qualification (HNC or above)\\nMembership of a professional body (RICS, CIOB)\\n If you are interested in this role click Apply to submit your CV for consideration.\\n\\nThis employer is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.\\n\\nAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, colour, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, or age.\\n\\nKey Skills: Estimating, Take Offs, Bids, Pricing, Pre-construction, Commercial, New Build, SFS, Drylining, LGSF
