The role involves designing roof truss and floor systems, working closely with internal teams and clients to deliver accurate, compliant designs. As a Roof Truss Designer you will:
- Design roof truss and floor systems using industry software
- Interpret architectural drawings, specifications and building standards
- Produce accurate technical designs and manufacturing outputs
- Prepare CNC files to support fabrication processes
- Ensure all designs meet structural, safety and regulatory requirements
- Liaise with clients, engineers and internal teams to resolve design queries
- Provide technical support to sales and estimating teams
We are Looking for:
- Experience in roof truss design or a similar structural design role
- Proficiency in truss design software (e.g. Gang-Nail or equivalent)
- Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings
- Knowledge of roof and floor framing systems and load requirements
- Understanding of relevant building regulations and standards
