We are seeking a proactive and skilled Workshop Production Manager for our client's timber doors, windows, and stairs manufacturing business. This new role has been created following the retirement of the previous manager and aims to improve workshop operations and management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of 18 workshop staff.
- Implement reporting, KPIs, and capacity planning to enhance workshop management.
- Oversee production using CNC machines.
- Develop and improve planning and forecasting processes.
- Ensure effective use of production and reporting systems.
- Maintain a single shift operation from 6 am to 5:30 pm (staggered).
Requirements:
- Proven experience in managing timber windows, doors, and stairs production.
- Proficiency in CNC machinery and relevant software.
- Strong computer literacy and ability to implement reporting systems.
- Excellent leadership skills and ability to relate well to long-serving staff.
