A nationally operating offsite manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Fa ade Designer to join its specialist design function. The organisation delivers engineered fa ade solutions for complex construction projects and is known for its strong technical capability, structured delivery processes and long-term project pipeline. This role exists to support continued growth and increasing project demand and would suit a technically strong fa ade designer who enjoys working collaboratively from early-stage design through to manufacture and installation, with a focus on buildability, compliance and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce accurate fa ade drawings in elevation, section and detail
- Develop general arrangement fa ade and building elevation drawings
- Design and schedule fa ade components for manufacture, including cladding, glazing, brackets, flashings and fixings
- Prepare fa ade installation drawings for factory production and site use
- Support early-stage design development to assist project bids and estimating
- Coordinate with internal designers, engineers, production teams and specialist suppliers
- Develop technically robust solutions for bespoke fa ade elements
- Ensure drawings meet agreed timescales, quality standards and compliance requirements
