Trainee Software Support Specialist \\nWest Midlands\\n£25,000 to £35,000 DOE\\nFull Time, Permanent\\n\\nA Trainee Software Support Specialist is required to join an established software and technical support team, working with industry-leading construction design software used across the UK and Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career combining construction knowledge, software, and customer support.\\n\\nYour role will include:\\n\\nWorking closely with the software team to support the ongoing development and maintenance of specialist construction software\\nAssisting with software integration alongside other internal systems\\nLiaising with development teams to ensure software standards and deliverables are met\\nProviding customer software support and user training\\nUndertaking customer support visits when required\\nBecoming proficient in Autodesk Revit and associated software\\nParticipating in software testing and project meetings\\nSupporting Helpdesk activities and responding to customer queries\\nAssisting with software demonstrations for existing clients and prospectsFollowing your initial training and probation period, you will also:\\n\\nPlay a role in training and developing other team members\\nContribute to software requirement specifications\\nSupport software licensing administration and coordination\\nAttend industry events where appropriate\\nContinue developing your knowledge of BIM and related Autodesk productsAbout you:\\n\\nAn interest in construction technology, BIM, or design software\\nIdeally knowledge and design experience within the timber industry\\nConfident communicator with good customer-facing skills\\nTechnically minded and keen to learn complex software systems\\nOrganised, proactive, and comfortable working within a team environment\\nKeen to develop a long-term career in a specialist technical support roleThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a business offering progression, structured training, and exposure to cutting-edge construction software.
