We are working exclusively with an established timber frame business seeking a Timber Frame Designer to join its design team following a planned departure. This is a hands‑on, office‑based role suited to a designer who enjoys practical, buildable solutions and close collaboration with site and operations teams. Strong Revit experience is essential. Previous timber frame experience is advantageous but not required as training can be provided.
As a Timber Frame Designer You Will:
- Produce accurate timber frame designs using Revit
- Design floor, wall, and roof panels for efficient manufacture
- Work closely with operations and site teams to ensure buildability
- Support projects from concept through to delivery
- Collaborate with UK‑based colleagues and the wider European team
- Gain exposure to site conditions and real construction challenges
About You:
- Strong experience using Revit in a construction or technical design environment
- Practical, detail‑focused, and methodical approach
- Timber frame or offsite construction experience beneficial but not essential
- Willing to work office‑based, particularly during the initial onboarding period
- Local to the area or genuinely willing to relocate
