Key Responsibilities as a Senior Tekla Detailer:
- Produce accurate 3D models and drawing packages from engineering drawings
- Manage the modelling and detailing workflow through to project completion
- Prepare detailed GA drawings and fabrication drawing packages
- Raise technical queries when clarification is required
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, architects and subcontractors
- Attend design team meetings to support project progress
- Liaise with internal departments to meet project demands
- Assist in training and developing apprentice detailers
Experience Required:
- Minimum 20 years' structural steelwork detailing experience
- Minimum 15 years' Tekla Structures experience
- Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Proven capability to work independently and manage workload
- Experience coordinating with multiple project stakeholders
- Knowledge of quality assurance procedures
- Ability to produce standard GA and fabrication drawings
- Experience raising technical queries professionally
