The Opportunity
We are seeking mid and senior grade civil engineers. We are looking for technically strong, proactive and motivated civil engineers to join our teams in Bristol and Cardiff. Our teams are well established and highly motivated and now require greater resilience to sustain a strong and varied pipeline. Depending on your experience, you will lead or assist in the delivery of projects, drawing from skills such as flood advice, drainage, highways, streets, pavements, earthworks and utilities coordination. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team is essential. Inquisitive minds to challenge the norm are welcome. Is this role right for you?
- Proficient in the design of civil engineering elements.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present design options and solutions.
- Working knowledge of statutory approval processes, such as planning permissions and stakeholder engagement.
- Thrive in a team environment.
- Senior and Principal Engineers would lead teams or projects and have line management duties supporting the development of others.
- Desirable to have a working or proficient knowledge of relevant CAD packages such as AutoCAD, Civils 3D or Microstation.
- Desirable to have a working or proficient knowledge of civil engineering design software packages such as MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage, Civils 3D.
Qualifications
- Suitable qualification in Civil Engineering & Demonstrable experience within the field of civil engineering.
- Have or be actively working towards a professional qualification with a relevant professional body, such as the Institution of Civil Engineers.
