We currently have a range of roles for Landscape Architecture Graduates in our growing team of landscape architects across the Midlands, Southwest and Wales. Our constantly growing portfolio includes a wide range of work including Integrated landscape and public realm projects, coastal defence schemes, water projects focusing on flood resilience, Green and Blue Infrastructure projects and Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects.
The Opportunity: You will be working alongside an unrivalled community of experts, who will support and nurture your growth from the outset. Is this role right for you? Successful candidates should be keen to work within a team and confident in presenting and resolving complex design issues. We are seeking a range of skills and experience outlined below:
- A degree and/or a post graduate diploma or MA in Landscape Architecture, or potentially in a related subject such as Architecture, Geography or Environmental Science, where the candidate recognises and demonstrates how their learnt skills equip them for this role;
- Confidence in designing landscapes from the wider strategic scale down to the finer resolution of planting schemes and construction detailing;
- An understanding of Landscape Architecture as a broad discipline spanning landscape design, landscape management and landscape planning;
- Exceptional design skills ranging from building and analysing baseline information, visioning and feasibility studies, concept design development, report writing and layout, and technical awareness in the detail design of landscape and public realm;
- A genuine enthusiasm for working in and promoting landscape as a profession of integrators using a systems approach to shape a better world for people and nature in balance.
We use a variety of tools depending on the project and stage: Hand sketching, Adobe Photoshop/ InDesign/Illustrator, AutoCAD, SketchUp, REVIT, Rhino, ArcGIS, MS Office. We would love to see how you communicate.
