The Opportunity

Join Arup University as our Skills Programme Coordinator and play a key role in delivering our global Skills Programme—connecting 17,000+ colleagues across 54 technical networks worldwide. You’ll help strengthen technical excellence, support innovation and ensure the firm remains future‑ready. As a Skills Programme Coordinator, you’ll support the smooth running of a global programme — coordinating activities, engaging stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement. Working with a diverse international team, you’ll gain exposure across disciplines, regions and strategic initiatives.

What You’ll Do:

  • Coordinate day-to-day delivery of the Global Skills Programme
  • Manage schedules, milestones and programme documentation
  • Support global collaboration across regions and time zones
  • Act as a key point of contact for Skills Leaders and networks
  • Organise meetings, workshops and events
  • Prepare presentations, communications and updates
  • Track data, maintain records and support governance
  • Contribute to improving processes, tools and programme efficiency

We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive coordinator with a positive, service‑focused approach and a genuine interest in capability development. You’ll be confident managing multiple priorities, with strong attention to detail and a passion for enabling others to succeed.

You’ll Bring:

  • Experience in programme, project or coordination roles—ideally within a professional services, education or knowledge‑based environment
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Experience supporting global or cross‑functional initiatives, ideally within a matrix environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, engaging materials
  • Confident working with data, trackers and programme documentation
  • Experience organising meetings, workshops or events, including logistics and follow‑ups
  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work independently while supporting senior colleagues
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to keeping activities on track
  • Proficiency in digital collaboration tools (e.g. SharePoint, Teams, Excel)
