The opportunityAs a Senior Electrical Services Engineer, you will be a key part of the Building Services Engineering Senior Team, managing multidisciplinary projects while providing technical support and mentoring to the other Electrical engineers. You will be part of a collaborative team of over 20 Building Services engineers and technicians in the Sheffield office and a wider 100+ engineers and technicians within the Northwest & Yorkshire region. Play an active role in all stages of our projects from feasibility through to completion across a number of sectors, including commercial, residential, education, energy, sport, health and mixed-use developments. Play a part in the ever-increasing digital transformation of our business, seeking new ways to increase our efficiency through automation and to offer new services to our clients through our integrated digital approach to design. Degree qualified in Electrical Services Engineering, ideally to Master's level. Working towards a Chartership Excellent design and technical skillsHave had lead design responsibility on projects for the Electrical Services EngineeringHave experience of and enjoy working collaboratively in multi-disciplinary design teams, contributing to projects from inception to completion. Demonstrable experience in the field of electrical building services design with experience across a range of project scales and building typesStrong planning and organisation skillsExcellent communications skills, both verbal and writtenAble to demonstrate strong commercial awareness and be developing successful relationships with external team membersCommitted to their own professional development and looking for challenging work to develop their engineering skill. A passion for design and an enthusiasm for architecture and sustainable building design. Ability to demonstrate technical aptitude and experience in design analysis software. Experience of working within a BIM environment using Revit beneficial.
