The Opportunity

Arup’s growing Procurement Advisory business is seeking an experienced procurement professional to join its national team, based in Leeds, Manchester, or Sheffield, with occasional travel. The role involves jointly leading procurement activities across the full project and procurement lifecycle, advising clients delivering capital programmes across multiple sectors, and providing best practice procurement strategy, tender management, and evaluation services to achieve sustainable, value-driven outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating high-quality procurement documentation and reports
  • Contributing to business cases and delivery models
  • Managing project teams and sub-consultants
  • Offering senior technical and pastoral support
  • Strong client engagement—presenting findings, developing new opportunities, strengthening relationships, representing the Procurement service externally, and providing expert commercial advice to define, negotiate, and award standard and bespoke contracts
