The Opportunity
On this 10-12-month Internship you'll work alongside skilled professionals and from day one you will be working on real life meaningful projects - adding value to clients, while exploring challenges with curiosity and creativity. You'll learn from others and begin creating your professional network ready for when you graduate. There will be regular learning sessions with our leadership team, opportunities for site visits to local projects and all kinds of social events that will support your learning and development.
In this role you will be aligned to:
- Carrying out assessment, analysis, and design, preparing design reports, drawings, calculations, and specifications.
- Developing infrastructure designs for development sites in the urban environment, including urban transport, site infrastructure, pavements, utilities and drainage design solutions.
- Collaborating with Arup colleagues in other disciplines.
- Meeting with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders, including site visits.
- Using specialist analysis and design software such as Infodrainage, GIS, AutoCAD/Civil 3D/Bentley MicroStation, ProjectWise, ACC, Navisworks, Infraworks, Plant3D, InfoWorks, Python, and Copilot.
